Pole Updates
The pole is now walk/running around the house like a mad man. He has recently discovered how to climb on the couch and our bed. Everything is an obstacle course for him. Although he is a very physical kid, he loves reading books and practicing his word flash cards. He can now say: Ursa, ball, hi, eye, sock (although it comes out as "ock"), up, dada, mama. He can also sign "more".
He eats pretty much anything we do. His favorite food is strawberries and anything with spinach.
We recently bought a sled and he has been sledding a few times in the back yard. He loves to go incredibly fast and "spin out" at the end.
He is a snuggly little guy. He loves to give hugs and kisses and to be tickled. He also loves anything with a dog or cat on it.

Step Stool
The pole has been receiving alot of gifts via UPS from his family down south. The other day, pole grabbed a little box and pushed it against the couch. He then proceeded to use the box like a step stool so he could sit on the couch. He was so proud of himself that he decided to do it over and over again....around 20 times. :)

Pizza Day
Today is the first day the pole will get a "hot school lunch". Its pizza day! If all goes well, he will be enjoying hot cheese pizza every Wednesday going forward.
ps - Maybe I'm just being cheap....but why does a toddler portion of pizza cost $3.50? (doesn't include milk)

Nick was here!
Belated post -
Nick surprised everyone by crashing Sarah's baby shower in Florida. (He was home on Air Force leave from Japan).

Don't judge. He had to poop and Opa was in the bathroom

First Steps
On Thanksgiving morning, the pole took his first steps by himself. It was awesome that Steve and I got to both be home to see it!
