Fun with Dzia

The pole and AG's Dzia Dziu (sounds like Jadge Jew) was over to work on the fence. Most of the shots are horrible action shots, but the first one is a cute one of the pole and Dzia.

I see you!

AG naps with one eye open. Her left hand is hidden under the blanket, ready to attack you like a ninja!

Baby AG Update

We've had an interesting time with baby AG's feeding over the short course of her life. The pole was an eating monster. He loved boob and when he went on formula, he loved it too. He pooped numerous times a day.

AG has had a rough time....her body cannot handle lactose from mom or cows. After weeks of failed attempts, we seemed to have figured things out. She is now on soy formula with an additional 1oz of pear juice in the afternoon to help her poo. Its unbelievable how different they are.

Potty Training

The pole is in the beginning stages of potty training. He has gone a few times, and yesterday he actually poo'd in the potty at school. I've been rewarding him with stickers when he tries and a match box car when he goes. His dad decided that he should get a new Thomas brand train (or two) every time he does anything. On Sunday, my checking account was drained ~$40 for 2 pee's on the potty thanks to his Dad's over zealousness for handing out toys.

Unfortunately for us the pole has figured out that once he is in bed and we're ready to leave, he always has the urge to go. He is a master at delaying bedtime by 10min+.

Bye-bye Tiny Roommate!

Since her birth, baby AG has been a permanent fixture in our bed. She liked to stay up until 10pm watching Law & Order SVU on DVR with her overly tired mother. Last night I reached my breaking point and informed my tiny roommate that she needed to relocate to her own living quarters. It was painful for an hour, but she finally caved in and had a peaceful night. She woke up at 1pm for a bottle, and by 2:15 she was passed out again in her crib. She actually slept in an extra 1.5hrs...woohoo!!

So far so good tonight.
