Hi little AG -
You are our beautiful, funny, mellow baby "soybean". We had a rough initial 6 weeks together until we figured out your belly needed soy milk (Gerber Soy to be exact), but it has been smooth sailing once we ironed out that little wrinkle. In the past few months you have transitioned from a tiny blob into a belly laughing little girl. You love to look at peoples foreheads and then laugh (to be honest, its giving us all a slight complex about the sizes of our foreheads). You are a tiny female version of your big brother. Everyone at school instantly recognizes the same smile and hearty laugh you both share.
You have short sandy blond hair and slate blue eyes. You are wearing size 2 diapers and 9 month clothes. (We'll have a weight/height check this Friday at your Dr appt). A few weeks ago you began to reach for things. You love to chew on your pink blanket and 2 tiny elephant toys.
You try your hardest to sit up by yourself and it looks like you are doing little crunches in the process. Tummy time isn't your favorite, and neither is laying around on your back all day. Your preferred method of travel is front facing in a baby carrier. Your dad and I joke that we should get a mannequin to strap you to because you like to be carried and swayed for hours at a time.
You are eating 6-7 hours every 3-4 hours and seem satisfied. The Dr thinks you may have an oat allergy (no Aveno!) and you have incredibly sensitive skin. You have your Dads head and long body and your moms pale skin (the pole has moms big head and dads long body and darker skin). You and I will be sharing an umbrella and SPF 100 at the beach for years to come.
You have hated being swaddled from the beginning. You like to be tucked in with a big fuzzy blanket around your legs and waist with your pink waffle blanket against your side and face. You use a paci when sleeping (your dad is very proud that he was able to get you to take it...it took hours of practice during your 6 week scream fest).
You are such a fun baby, we are really blessed to have you. We love you little soybean!
