During our first snowstorm of the season, the pole decided he would prefer hauling the sled around instead of sitting in it. He put his friend "my my monkey" (as he refers to it) in the sled for a ride. Steve tried to swipe my my monkey out of the sled, and the pole went on the attack.

Merry Christmas 2010
Christmas Eve - Someone was dropping 4 letter bombs while assembling the Big Wheel from Aunt Sarah....want to guess who?
Someone was a little spooked by all of the new stuff under the tree. He wanted a friend to come with to check it out

The pole was exhausted after a full morning of playing with toys.

Little Man
Hi little man...tonight you had a pretty rough night. You are always so good when its bedtime, but tonight you were very out of sorts. I felt so bad b/c every 10 minutes or so you would cry "mama" and just lay in bed unsettled.
A little while ago you cried mama again, and I came in and crawled into bed with you. Your little head was so clammy, I rubbed your forehead and asked if you wanted me to stay with you for a while and you gave me the best tiny smile in all of the world. You were so snugly and gave me a big hug and a smile before finally closing your eyes and drifting off.
I love you little man.

Belated Halloween at School
All of the kids in the poles class had a blast dressing up for the parade. Our little man hates dressing up, so the best we could do was put him in a fireman teeshirt. His teachers gave him a fireman's hat to wear....you'll notice he also hates wearing hats which is why he hauling it around in his hand.
After the parade, his class had a party of chocolate pudding and fruit salad. Want to take a quick guess at what the pole ate?
This is his 2nd bowl of fruit salad. His chocolate pudding was pushed over by the blue napkin. He saved it for me...what a good boy!
The best part of the school Halloween festival was the afterparty in the parking lot. You might be wondering where are all the other kids in these pics. The other kids are inside hanging out. Our sweet little pole saw construction equipment at the end of the adjoining parking lot and forced me to go check it out for 20 minutes. Much more fun than dressing up and eating chocolate pudding!
