The pole has been battling a right ear infection the past week. 2 days ago, he began poking his left ear. We brought him in this morning to the Dr for a quick ear check. Dr S said both eardrums are not inflamed, and there is just the "usual" fluid that only our child seems to have 24/7. She did say that one cause of ear tugging is the body's natural reaction to pushing the ear tube out. We knew the tubes would only last 1-1.5years, so maybe its time for a new pair. The pole has an appt with the ear specialist in September, hopefully he can stay put together until then.
