Food Exploration

The pole's school has started a hot lunch program. We've been receiving some interesting daily updates. A few of the fun ones include:
  • "Enjoyed putting his peas into the chocolate pudding and playing with it" (the pole hates pudding and apparently peas)
  • "Ate all of the tuna salad and wheat bread" (excuse me? My child just ate tuna?)
  • "Enjoyed chewing the piece of pasta before spitting it onto the floor" (sounds more like our pole)
  • "Refused Jello"
  • "He liked his french toast but gagged on maple syrup"
  • "Beef stew - none. Peaches - ate 4 bowls"
Needless to say its been entertaining to see what he will actually eat. He has been having a peaceful protest at home by eating only cheese grits for breakfast and dinner. Tonight we did trick him into a pizza party which was a nice change.

A few random pics over the past few weeks...1st bowl of tomato soup, his fav spinach pizza, and his first banana that was not spit out.
