Oma/Opa Visit --> Halloween 2009

Hi Pole -

This weekend your Oma and Opa came for a visit. You had a great time on Friday playing hooky from school to hang out with them. You took a trip to cvs to buy Halloween candy, you went on lots of neighborhood stroller walks with Opa, and you had a nice nap snuggling with Oma. On Saturday, Oma took you to buy a cool new wagon. Opa and Daddy were in trouble for taking so long to meet us at the store. Once they finally arrived, we sat down and had a yummy bbq lunch (pulled pork, green beans, mac-n-cheese, chicken).

After dinner on Saturday night, we dressed you in your cool new Bruins Jersey and matching hat. You visited neighbor Keith and Eric, and then decided you were done with the whole halloween business. You finished out the night playing with Oma and Opa in the play room, laughing everytime Opa had to run to the front door to pass out candy.

On Sunday morning, Opa and I pushed you down your rollar coaster hundreds of time. Opa invented a safety stop by placing Ursa's big dog bed at the end of the ramp. You would zoom down the coaster and the dog bed would be a nice soft brake. Before Oma and Opa left, you learned a new phrase..."Bye-bye"! You have been saying it non stop in a really high pitched voice...its very cute.

Love you!
Mom
