Over the Christmas holiday, we started weening him off of his "paci" during the day. Everything we going really well until we started the new day care, and the pole started clinging to his paci like crazy. Things really became bad during our visit to Florida, where he was down right obsessive about always having his paci in his mouth.
Thankfully, new day care has really helped fix the situation. Last week he went the entire day (including nap) without his paci. Tonight he actually went to bed without his paci as well. Hopefully the paci is now a thing of the past!
Update - July 2010....paci lives on for naps and bedtime. :(
