I took the pole back to the ear specialist today for his 1 month followup. It looks like the last visits ear suction did the trick. The pole passed his hearing test with flying colors, and his tubes are nice and open. We still have a bit of a drainage issue on the right side, but the Dr thinks 1 more round of drops should take care of it. Our next visit is in 6 months. If we have any issues in the mean time, we are supposed to throw him on a week of drops to clear it up.
Hopefully this has really solved everything!
