We had a pretty busy weekend. Saturday morning, Ursa was luck enough to be sprayed by a skunk at 6am. We used something called "Nature's Miracle" and most of the stink is out of her fur, although her head is still a little smelly. Thankfully there were no house showings this weekend, or we would have been totally screwed.
Saturday evening we went to Tina and Jesse's for dinner. The pole had alot of fun playing with his grandparents and cousin. We had a bit of a situation Saturday night on the way home. Unfortunately the pole saw his cousin with our arch nemesis...a binky. He threw a total fit in the car and we finally caved in and gave it to him. Thankfully Sunday has gone pretty well and he has been sans binky all day/evening.
This morning we received an impromptu call from our friends for a play date. We met up with Crystal and Dave and their son at a local play place. The kids had alot of fun. It was pretty funny to watch the boys together. They used to be in the same class at daycare, so they still recognize each other. When together, the pole looks like the cautious little old man who plans his every move. His friend B is the crazy fearless little man who throws all caution to the wind. They are a very cute odd couple. After a morning play session, we went to Bertucci's for pizza. We waited a bit to long to eat, and the pole was incredibly cranky. As we were getting ready to leave, a crazy lady at the table next to us took a piece of pizza off of our tray and ate it. It was very strange, but pretty funny.
