15 month checkup

Today was the pole's 15 month check up. Everything looks good. His measurements came in off the charts again, 34lbs and 34 inches. I think he was ~34 inches at the 1yr appt...the Dr said the nurse probably screwed up one of the measurements. Oh well. He's still in a 3T, although the waist is a little looser now.

He has moved from "drunken walking" to a sprint. Tonight the pole and Ursa ran around the upstairs loop about 50+ times. They both finally sat down on the rug and took a breather.

After his Dr appt, we got to check out an ambulance and fire truck (parked outside for some reason). The fireman was nice enough to open the fire truck doors and let us climb in to get a closer look. It was fun to see, although it was incredibly smelly. (Someone in the firehouse needs to invest in better deodorant.)

On the way home we stopped at TJ Max to check out the toys. I've been looking for a kid friendly power drill for the pole, and of all places, I found one at TJ. Its the "Bob the Builder" drill, and the pole loves it. Once we got home, Steve and the pole spent the next hour pretending to drill anything in their path (including Ursa).
