18 month checkup

This week the pole had his 18 month checkup. He is 34.5 inches, and 34 lbs. (We are quickly approaching a perfect square) His ear tubes look great, and we were given the green like to go swimming without ear plugs.

The pole is into everything. A few of his new tricks include:

• he has mastered taking the baby lock off the cabinet storing our pots/pans
• able to turn the deadbolt on the front door
• opens the back screen door
• easily grabs things off counters
• He loves to watch Clifford, Harry the Dirty Dog, Dinsoaurs, and the latest addition is Goodnight Gorilla.
• He spends alot of time reading, building block towers with Dad, exploring the yard/neighborhood, and terrorizing Ursa (who does her fair share to him as well)
